Bought the scooter yesterday with no start issue
Things I checked so far
All fuses good
Start relay - good
Can hear fuel pump priming at start
Pulled spark plug - no spark
Question: where are all the relays located? Also any advise on what to look for
I've never had a piaggio but very comfortable with a multi meter and reading diagrams
On line repair manual???can someone guide me on where to check voltage for the spark plug ?bad coil?bad relay?
Thanks in advance

About the best and only place to check coil voltage is at the coil, which requires removal of almost all the tupperware.

But, before going that far make sure the immobiliser is not acting up and preventing power to the coil and thus no spark. Did you get a full set of keys including the brown master key???

Relays are behind the instrument cluster.

Hope you didn't pay much. In my book, every bike has a story and one that is a non runner translates to scrap value.

If the bike sat for a long time (90+ days) expect to do more than just a basic tune up.

Example: Very recently I picked up a 2016 Vespa GTS 250 that IS a runner with 6K mi /10K km on the dial for 1600 Euro including 2 Vespa branded helmets. The reason? The bike fell over one time and caused some body damage requiring body and paint work. The reason for the price? Vespa parts pricing and body + paint work and it needs the 10K service maintenance which I will combine with the 15K belt service, all fluids + filters, new battery, etc, etc, etc.

Do you have a red led light on the cluster when trying to start?

check the antenna at the ignition switch

Immo is located in the throttlebody

it the 4th bike now i did have 2 customers that did have the same problem one of then did have a dead throttlebody the other one did have a bad antenna my own Fuoco was simple the plug unplugged some how from the antenna

You cant fix the throttlebody with out special software, with JPdiag it is freeware and a special plug you can access the throttlebody by obd2 to see if its dead, cheap automotive obd2 reader won't read it
