I never get speedos barely showing mileage. What'd they do - ride it, or push it around the block a few times?

I barely got the speedo in the Allstate working and it's already over 1,000 Vespa units. Can't call them miles cause it's so inaccurate.

Yeah, I put on 80+ miles yesterday just roughing in carburetor setup. It's a calibrated SIP speedometer so I can call it miles.

The motor is all there and fully in tact. Just needs a speedometer, headlight, and a few accessories. ...
Huh! If that motor is any good... If there's no serious rust, gobs of Bondo or bent frame... what frame and headset is this, sure aint no P ? But the Rally200 was made thru 1979, could this be a diamond in the rough??? Somebody call and get the VIN!

Definitely a P frame as indicated by the tail/cowl securing points. Rest is who knows

Hmm... Metal horncast on a rare P frame w/ no blinkers? And I don't think those cowls are P or Rally ("... with some parts from an older model"), but the pic is vague and who knows how they are stuck on there. They look like they are maybe too far forward.

Look at the filler back of left cowl.

You would need some walnut shell blasting media and a few hours to see what's under all that white paint.

I can't figure out those cowls and can't see other side, but if it's a P200 frame, somebody went to a LOT of work on that horncast. I wonder what fork it has? SOMEBODY call this guy, just not me coz I'm NOT in the market!!!

ah! the shitty Frankenstein reappears, yet again!

this this is hot garbage. P cowls with whatever farmer/artist work on them (bondo) along with a WTF horncast that's been stitched on with a headset that's more than likely locked up.

it was painted all red. then painted white and relisted. look at the work, painted right over the switches. top quality brush work.

from the previous photos, some of the motor was disassembled and looked rusty and or missing.

so basically, you're buying a pile of parts. what's a set of P cases worth? a front fork? maybe a tank and a frame with no paper work?

that's *maybe* 500 worth of stuff if you have a giant hard-on for a P2 motor. sell off the other bits for maybe 150 or so. crumble up the rest and throw it in the dumpster.

fork looks okay? unless the dog leg and stem are supposed to be parallel?

but you gave me pause, and I looked closer. what's up with the horncast? it looks.... odd?

aside from that, I think it looks weird because the headset is just on it without a fork. if it took that much damage, I'd suspect we'd see some taco action on the tunnel and there's no wavy gravy there.

interesting to be sure. if it was local, I'd be peeping it like a one eyed cat in a seafood store.

thanks for the heads up. I didn't know that!

after looking at the pics, surprisingly there's none from the front and seeing that edge of the horncast I'd guess this got smashed pretty good. the primer is a red herring.

tape measure and granular knowledge in person might make it a buy, but at well less than the asking.

still worth 5 on a motor, a tank and some other bits.

If someone wants to cut the fork off above the shock, I could use pieces on my VNA, stripped Allstate.

Nice looking bike, but $4500 is a bit rich for my blood. It seems prices are going up, up, up. A little work and this lo mile P200 for $2900 could look just as good and has the bigger motor. Plus you could haul a lot of freight!
