Hello everyone,

As I know, there is no commercial foot pegs brackets available at the moment, and looks like I have no other choice, but to create something individually.

I heard about brackets from "old as dirt" and they look great, never saw them installed on a bike though, BUT I was told that "old as dirt" is not producing them anymore, unless he'll get a bunch of orders, and seems that for the last year nobody was really interested to purchase them.

So, I want to make my own brackets, most likely not that fancy and not looking commercial, but hope they should work. I'd greatly appreciate if you, guys, can share photos of your MP3s with installed brackets and pegs. Want to get some ideas of how they might look and how to install them to compile something similar.

Regards.

New member here to Modern Vespa.. I am looking for the same information. I need to stretch my legs a little on my new to me MP 500ie.

One plus is I can produce multiple sets if there is a demand for them.

Thanks in advance Carl

Contact OAD (Old As Dirt) to see if he's willing to share the specs of the latest design. If you're in a place to produce multiple sets, then MP3 riders planet-wide would welcome that.

I already contacted OAD, unfortunately, he is not gonna share it, not blaming him, looks like it cost him too much.

folks do your research there are lots of homemade solutions your seeking just use the SEARCH FUNCTION and you shall find them.

I am not willing to throw out my specs on my design to whomever and wherever Sorry. but it costs me $3k to do the engineering and prototypes to come up with the ones I did.
I sold sets just above manufacturing costs as a service to folks here.

the issue is to make them at a reasonable cost is I need to order 16 sets at a time and to have 12 folks commit to purchasing so I am only on the hook for 4 sets out of my pocket sitting on the shelf waiting on someone to say hey I need a set 4-5 months later. I am not a business or a parts warehouse and taken a big gamble on those 12 folks to come thru initially, because I have to pay cash for them at the fab shop when ordering. last order was $2320 and that was 4 years ago my cost. I checked last year and materials and labor has them up to $180 a set COST. not including gas and screws and packing materials.

so if someone wants to pony up the $3k for me to drop an order for 16 sets send me a pm and we can work something out.

Willing to go in on an order should a significant demand ever rise again.
