Happy Winter Solstice to others who stand upside down on Earth.
This one is worse because Earth is furthest from the sun in its wobble orbit.

We haven't had negative C dawn temperatures yet and our days are still in high teens,
so a little more moderate than you guys living closer to the big ice block at the South Pole.
But I can still comfortably ride my Vespa and I have a coffee meeting in an hour with another Vespa rider.

It is now 8C and the sunshine is streaming in...

Life is good.

I rode Gabriella to work today suitably dressed for the temperature. It's now 17:40 and dark outside. According to my weather app the temperature is 8.1, feels like 7. Zero overnight, predicting 13 tomorrow after frosts. Ride carefully people.

I bet it'll be nice out at the coast today! If I still lived there, I'd be riding out to Ft. Ross, Goat Rock, or Bodega Bay.

Circuit City used to close all of the Bay Area stores for a day and bus everyone to a massive picnic at the Castle Rock Rec Area. I remember thinking how hot it felt in comparison to Santa Rosa.
