They also are a bit longer and hence may add a little extra protection (but not enough extra width to make a difference if you judiciously lane split), and look better IMO. Come in different colors, too.
IMPORTANT: you'll need a small spacer in the right one, otherwise it locks the throttle.
The originals are silly expensive if you try to score them, it's just a darn piece of plastic...
