I have a SIP speedometer on my 2018 Sprint (this one). It has about 80,000 functions (or maybe six) that you select by advancing through them one at a time with the OEM mode button on the right handlebar. I've had it for a couple of years now and I like it except for one annoying problem: about 40% of the time when I start the scooter, the speedometer's function advances by one. In order to get it back to the display I like to ride with, I've got to cycle through them all. It has done this basically since the beginning.

Has anyone else had a similar issue, and/or have a suggestion as to how to fix it?

I'm sorry, I have no advice, but I do want to commiserate with you. That's super irritating!

random thought:

maybe dodgy mode button. try unplugging the button and see if it still spontaneously advances.
