edit:
hmm, I was counted again..I have 44, closer to 45 and become a grandpa, so soon (hearing about that yesterday)
26 years old, and apparently the only MP3 rider in Richmond, VA- at least the only one on this forum! We've got a great scooter group down here, the seven hills scooter club, and I'm the only Mp3 on that ride, although apparently there are two or three others in town.
If there are any VA riders around here who go for rides, let me know! Edit- my scoot, helmets, jacket, gloves, and boots are all grey. My scoot's name is the Mongoose, and my seldom-used two door explorer (I'm a photographer, gotta haul lights to gigs...) is named the Warthog. Anybody get the reference? I'll drop a hint- my truck doesn't have a gatling gun, but it should. Last edited by Big Monty on Sat May 17, 2008 12:32 am; edited 1 time in total |

Carol Are you riding to work every day? How do you like your 500? Let me know if you ever want to ride. I am always up for a ride. I was thinking of going up 70 to Quincy and come back on 80. I just got my wife a full face helmet and a riding jacket so we are set. Let me know any time is good for us. Reno Bob |

Age and Location
58 years old, Fredericksburg, Virginia. I bought my 2007 250 MP3 last week (6850 or so OTD) and I just love it. It was a demonstrator with 36 miles on it. I have owned many bikes over the years. My most recent was a Suzuki LC1500. It weighed nearly 700 lbs and was great on the highway. The trouble is that I work close to home and do most of my riding in town. I had a heart attack about 5 years ago and muscling my suzuki around became a real problem for me so I sold it about a year and a half ago. With gas prices going up (and missing my bike). I started looking at scooters. I was excited when I found the MP3 on the internet. It looked like the answer to my problem. A lighter bike that was stable, safer, and great on gas. I could not wait to ride one. I went to my local dealer and asked for a test drive. Sorry...no demonstrators available. With some research, I found a dealer in Arlington that had a demonstrator for sale that was happy to let me try it. I bought the scooter tha same day.

Hey all!! First time posting, I am new to this forum and to any forum for that matter. I just purchased my MP3 500... Demon Black, yesterday in Marina Del Rey. I am really excited. My brthday was Monday and I just turned 32. What a present. I have been reading this forum for a couple of months and boy oh boy am I thankful. You all are so knowledgeable and have made my decision of getting a scooter easy, especially the MP3. Thanks!!

40'ish, Scot's, my Vietnamese girlfriend is 14.....not!!!..snigger...
Counting down the days to my 500's delivery in Sofia, Bulgaria, where it will be tortured through the Pirin/Rhodope mountain ranges and be taken across border/ ferry to the wonderful green Island of Thassos/Greece, (hidden fuse permitting Ex-sport bike rider, ZZR/VFR, sold them when I couldn't handle my black Lab' putting his sad face on every time I picked my helmet up, (he kinda knew he wasn't coming Bought a jeep and spent many happy years with him in the hills and glenn's of Scotland, no regrets. But I just couldn't sell my Shoei lid and riding gear somewhow. Moved to Bulgaria for tax reasons, although the scenery is breathtaking biking country, the roads here are badly potholed in many places, don't fancy going to hospital here so started looking at ATV's. Then I discovered, first the MP3 which fed my imagination but I didn't buy (might yet for town) now the Fuoco which I've ordered. A big thanks to this board, having scoured the net it is THE BEST fraternity for the products and can only get better as more are sold and the owners find this place, the Italian product is a bike for everyman. Happy riding peeps Anthony |

I've been waiting for the geezer crowd to show, but they're still hiding. I'm 75 and have a black 500. Great bike, as 87 attests. Speaking of 87, I don't know the person, but my guess is: He is in his 50s with many years experience with motorcycles and, as we know, a great sense of humor. The picture of the computer generated/modified blond is part of his humor.

45 in San Jose, moving to Manhattan Beach...
owned MP3 250 for a year, put in 3K miles, upgraded to MP3 500 last week and love it. Sadly ever since I have had an MP3 my 450HP Porsche Turbo S is no longer used, neither is my Mercedes ML, or my wife's Audi A4 Convertible! I want to get rid of something but it's not going to be the P. or MP3! We are only 2 with no kids yet!
Oh and as much as I have 3 Hawaii Ironman finishes, one under 10 hours, I no longer cycle either!!!! These MP3's are an addiction. I bet if I had a Harley I would not ride it as much as the MP3. MP3's rule, they are also the bikes used in the Giro d Italia this week that follow the cyclists! |

Just got my 250. Last time I rode a scooter was back in the 70'. My claim to fame then was for winning the 'Daily Mirror' award for the 'Best Performance on a Scooter' in the Auto Cycle Union, 24hr, 600 mile round Briton National Rally (those of you in the UK may know this rally), that was on a Vespa 125 Primavera. Those were the days. |

I am from Alberta, Canada. I am 35 yrs old and this is my first bike! I gotta say I'm inlove with it!
I gave up my SUV to be more environmentally friendly and economical....I originally was going to get a Vespa LX but fell in love with the MP3 at the dealer ship and after 2 months of researching the internet I picked my MP3 400. I wouldnt trade it for the world and I am only just realizing how great the ride really is! ![]() |

andrewcrow I was able to spend 4 days back in the Bay Area about a month ago. I took my 400 across the Bay Bridge and it was just AMAZING to say the least!!!! I went back to the East Bay on the San Mateo Bridge and that has a cross wind in the afternoon for sure. When I was commuting there were no MP3. If I was commuting today to S.F. it would be on my 400!!!!! You made a good choice for your commute scoot. Enjoy it. P.S Do you use the HOV lane and do they charge you $4 bucks during your commute?
