Has anyone removed/replaced their bar ends. Mine seem to be lock-tite solid and can't budge them without drilling.
Anyone else have this problem?

Mine came off no problem. Actually I took delivery of the scoot and drove it for a few days before I realized that the one on the left side was missing.
![]() I've since replaced the stock grips with Kuryakyns (they are teh sweeeeet) so I have a pair of bar ends if you screw something up and need them... Hit me up if that becomes the case. New gripsVV ![]() ![]() |

Re: throttlemeister cruise loc Detail?
Pieraldi wrote: Can you please send along detail for this as well...no fair to mention with no picts links or install input... They come w/instructions but I would suggest that you throw away the glue that they come with (or put it in your glue supply for some other use... It's basically superglue) and dry-mount them. You'll cut a shallow slit along the length of your rubber grips, peel 'em off and throw 'em away. Clean your bare bars, then the left side takes a little "building up" w/electrical tape to get a good fit. The throttle side holds pretty snugly as-is. Windex was suggested as a little lubricant to get things on and positioned. Then a cyclist I work with also suggested using hairspray as it dries tacky. That would prolly work- this guy puts a couple hundred miles on his bicycle every weekend so he should know a thing or 5 about handlebars. Me- I left 'em like so (since he suggested this after I was done) and the left side will twist but only if you try to twist it. The throttle side has held firm for almost 1K miles. Cheers! |

If I ever do decide to swap mine out, these are bar ends I wouldn't mind having. Adds some LED light for turn signaling a bit higher up.

A phone call before I ordered them, would be my first step. |

Benefits: * Improved motorcycle safety * Highly visible mounted on end of handlebars * Extra wide angle viewing pattern * Visible from both front and back * Instant illumination of indicator * Small current draw * Billet aluminum * High power amber indicator LED * Elegant design * Stainless steel fasteners * Collets to suit 14mm to 22mm ID of Handlebar By using 8 high power wide angle LED on each side of the circuit board the indicator is visible from both the front and back at the same time with equal luminosity. This has a substantial improvement on the visibity of the indicators which adds highly to the safety of the motorcycle and rider. Mounting on the end of the handle bar provides the greatest opportunity to be seen. LED's offer a much longer life than ordinary filament indicator bulbs. Often LED's last longer than the motorcycle in which they are fitted. With the small current draw of LED's battery life is improved. LED's do not have a time delay on operation so they are instantly on at full power. One of the commonest complaints of aftermarket motorcycle indicators is the quality of the lenses. Our unique lens envelopes the LED circuit board completely by 360 degrees providing a melt proof, shake proof and loss proof cover. These indicators are CNC machined from billet aluminum and are available in black or silver anodised. Complete with stainless steel fasteners, sleeved cable and a brass collet to allow fitting to hollow handlebars for most motorcycle. 14mm to 22mm Indicator body size: 50mm long x 35mm dia |
