So I have collected some really cool and unique patches and I want to do something with them like a Rally Jacket or Vest.

With a vest, I could wear it under my Corazzo riding jackets.

As a standalone Rally Jacket, don't think I would ride with it on - but if I want to wear out when I ride and I would need to drag it along and be encumbered with two jackets. Why ? Makes no sense, though initially the Rally Jacket idea sounds great

So I am thinking vest, wondering if anyone has any recommendations on vests thinking a black cotton or canvas vest would work or ?

Please opine with your thoughts and/or suggestions. Thanks

The more patches you can sew on your jacket ad's much more abraision resistance to it.

Jackets and vest have been done. Why not be groundbreaking in the scooter world?

I've thought a lot about this too. It's just too problematic to sew patches onto the Corazzo jacket I have. And kind of interferes with the aircooling properties of the mesh ones (Joe Rocket in this case).

So I am going to sew stuff onto a rally jacket I can wear after doffing the armored one. It should be soft enough to fit rolled up in the pet carrier or glovebox, so I am considering converting one of my cycling jackets to the purpose. Most of the them are windproof, and have venting for hotter days, so they would be useful under different conditions. The fabrics are also designed to wick sweat, for those hotter days. I even have one with removable sleeves, so it converts to a vest!

(Mine is blue, and not 'screaming yellow' but you get the idea)

I just got one of these to put my measly 3 patches on. But I hope to be getting more, starting with Amerivespa 2010.

I'll post pics when I get them sewed on. I hope I get around to it soon.
