Modern Vespa

Well, I just got back from San Francisco, Marin County up in Navato.
I didn't get any time off to explore as I had hoped but it was wonderful to be in California again. the last time I was in San Francisco was 1972.
I was with the band and we played the Filmore, got to jam with Carlos
Santana, went to the Jefferson Airplanes band house, and spent the night at Tommy Smuthers house in Marin. (a way cool weekend.)
Anyway I digress, the guys house I was working on now had deer and wild turkeys runnuing all around the neighborhood. really strange, it seemed to be mating time as well.Very noisy.
While I was there my wife called and we seem to have been transfered to Denver for a couple years. I have work to finish so I won't go for a few months yet. I guess the scooter sceen is pretty good there. Hoping to meet you guys from Denver soon. I'm going to try to finish my Lotus 7 project so I can bring the car up into the mountians where it will really be fun. I'm a little freaked out still so thanks for listening.

I can't imagine anyone not liking denver. They have awesome views,great miro brewies,great restaurants and a cool bookstore called the tattered cover. There will be great sidetrips to the mountains. Lots of roads for the scoot. Some great scooter people also. Good luck with the move. Your goinna have fun

Denver is a great city. I lived Colorado for around 9 years (about 3-4 spent in Denver) and still kinda' call it home. The people are wonderful and geniune. The weather is ... well, it's Colorado. All four seasons and generally very beautiful. So much to do outdoors and so close.

I wonder if you'll have to adjust your scooter for the altitude. I used to ride a motorcycle (sport bike) there, and we needed have our carburetors adjusted for the thinner air for better performance.

You guys are gonna love Denver! The scooter scene here is growing all of the time, and we have great clubs in and around Denver. When you get into town, give us a shout out and we'll introduce all y'all (I used to live in San Antonio, so still retain a bit of the twang) to our roads, sites and high altitude living! Have a safe journey!

Thanks or the notice on the rally. I'm not sure when I'll be getting there, My wife will be comming in a couple weeks I think. I may not get there untill I finish work I have under contract, sometime like june maybe. but who knows I may need to come sooner and could bring my acooter just for the rally????? I don't want to miss the summer.
