Crash bars on the side and rear; front wheel guard; GTS crest (just 'cause I like them); a chrome fold-down rack with sissy bar (even more GTS-like, but I did this before the GTS was ever announced); clear short windscreen; and new!, chromed crank case, exhaust and center stand from Jettin!

(Oh, and a nice silver decal of a dragon that I thought would look nice in the center of my cowl, which matches two other vinyl dragon decals I have on my helmet, which is not pictured.)

Looking good! I think if you took the heat shield off your muffler, and painted it gloss black, it would look way cool too.

Good thinking. I think I'll do this and get the wheels chromed... AFTER I get my second scooter so I don't tear my hair out over missing riding time while it's undergoing cosmetic surgery!

nice looking scoot!

I was wondering (also about plenty other scooters on this site) - if I'm the only guy that likes front racks? I think it ties the whole chrome package nicely together and balances the whole look out a bit. I know it's just a question of personal preferences but I was just curious because I rarely see front racks on this site...

anyhow, great looking ride,
Andreas

The black and chrome look very nice. Takes me back to my first GS150 in 1960, when I painted it midnight blue and fitted it out with legshield and rear crashbars, chrone wheen covers, chrome hooter cover, etc.

With my second GS150 I went the other way, with no added chrome. And now with my silver GT200 I have gone a little further, getting my PM exhaust painted satin black! I have also changed the taillight, with its silver surround, for the new all-red one. I might paint the engine black yet!

I didn't know they made grey seats! The whole thing looks very sharp.

Thanks. They don't make stock GT seats in gray though -- it was a custom dye job on a stock seat (I also removed the strap and scooped the cushion just a tad for a more sporty look).

That's funny. I got the "all red" tail light as the stock equipment on my 2005 GT200, and had to pay extra to get the "Euro" tail light with the silver border. I guess in Aussieland the "all red" version has the cachet of the exotic!

(In fact I still have my stock all red tail light in my garage, if anybody else wants it, it's just sitting in a box doing nothing.)
