Modern Vespa

I just stopped by the Vespa dealer in Orlando and was quoted $5000 out the door (includes tax, title, license) for a new LX150. Is that a fair price, or do I have a little wiggle room to bring it down a couple hundred?

Sounds like a fair deal to me. Here in SF, the demand is fairly high, and I'd say that price is considered pretty nice. Maybe you can try to see if they'll throw in the extended warranty - and that would make it a really sweet deal. I don't know your area's market, so I can't say for sure. Good luck, though!

that's what we sell them for out-the-door. there was a $100 price increase this year. shipping costs just went up $40 too.

ya mine was $5166 OTD

I went out the door for ~5400 on an '07 with a full chrome kit (front rack, back rack, front crash bars, rear crash bars) a helmet and registration and delivery.

Sounds a wee bit high to me as the total chrome kit cost me around 700 if I remember correctly. So you should be able to get out the door for less than 5k. Stay tough, don't give in.
