I have an issue with the seat lock on my GTS. It opens fine every time but sometimes the latch for the lock closes and gets stuck in a jammed position while lowering/closing the seat. I have got it to spring back open by pressing the unlock button while prying on the latch, but this gets old quick. I have lubed it up and it makes no difference. It seems like if the seat closes just a bit off center than the latch gets bumped into the jammed position.

Any advice would be great! Thanks!

There are 2 black plastic parts attached to the seat. When the seat is closed, those parts are directly above the chrome grab bar.

If one of the plastic parts is installed more forward or backward compared to the other side, one side will hit the chrome bar first, causing the seat the move side to side at the latch end.

Try removing those black plastic parts and see if your problem goes away.
If you still have the problem, you probably have a mechanical failure of the
latch.
