The workday is shorter and more enjoyable every time it starts and ends with a ride instead of a drive.

I have two jobs now, but the scene of my Vespa waiting for me at work is really not much different at either.

Out front at one job, usually the bikes park just on the pavement in front of where I am, but I sunk, so I use the concrete now.

Not a Vespa - But my BV 500 at work, with just one of the many, many trucks I have to deal with on my commute... this photo is sooo appropriate!

I park mine by the bicycle racks with a roof overhead. So far no one has complained, though the one guy who does ride his bike to work often chided me for not bicycling instead. (He knows that I ride a lot for exercise.) But I'd probably never be on time to work if I did.

Not a Vespa but...
Since there are very few riders where I work the boss let's us park undercover at the side entrance. Awfully nice of him. Now if I can just get that raise he promised.

I have these also for both my scoots. Lots of feedback about them on MV.

Does anyone else notice that scoots, unlike automobiles, trucks, or even motorcycles, look like they are waiting for their owners to return?
Like a loyal dog. (I've read posts on MV about scooter owners a bit annoyed that people pet or touch or even sit on their bike while parked.) |

It does look like it's waiting for me. The best part of my day is my commute, I have to say!

Every day is take your scooter to work day. I notice that the balance of scooter vs. motorcycles is currently running 50/50 in our 20-place garage and 25% Piaggio

Here is my spot for the past couple of days - usually i park undercover in the public car park at beyond the fence line but it's uneven ground on the footpath to get into our yard - since i've been starting early this week, i'd rather park in the light

Well, here's mine, parked outside in the street. Many London boroughs allow motorbike parking in their "pay and display" bays, free of charge and I'm virtually always able to park right at the end of this bay, protected to some extent by the paving...
Oh, if it uploads OK, it's a "stereo pair" so anyone that can get their left eye to look at the left image and right eye to look at the right image can see it in 3D... Bob ![]()
