Bumping this topic, now that warmer weather is back in the Northern Hemisphere, and I'm seeing an explosion of various variators on the roads here in Colorado. MV continues to gain new members, many of which, via introduction, we know use their scooters as primary transportation to and from the workplace.

My workday is shorter when I know two wheels are waiting for me outside.

I ride my scooter to work every day. This is why I'm getting a BV 350 soon.

This is rare here in L.A. I don't know why - "car culture", I guess. The riding weather is almost always at least acceptable and often quite wonderful.

Ironically, I won't be working on Monday.

I ride mine to work almost every day. It is an easy 1.1 miles through the wonderful historic district neighborhood where I live and work. Three stop signs, no lights.

Love that vintage color.

I've taken to doing something just a little bit special for my Friday afternoon commutes home from work. Normally for commuting I use the most direct route to and from work. But Friday afternoons I've taken to riding home the long way-via a good chunk of Minneapolis' gorgeous parkway system. From West River Road downtown, the length of Minnehaha Parkway, once around Lake Harriet, and then home on a few blocks of King's Highway. It's such a wonderful treat at the end of a workweek. It's like this awesomely symbolic beginning to the weekend.

Took the scoot to work today. Wish I could be riding instead of working.

This was the newly painted "motocicle parking" area at work. Before they realized the spelling error. Unfortunately it's been fixed.

As for me...yes. Lovely Midwestern day besides...though any day that doesn't guarantee rain is a ride to work day.

If you want to park in the motocicle spot you'll need to upgrayed.

Here is my beast (in good company), until some douche tries to park their car in whatever space is left over.

More scooters showed up later in the day. At last check 3 more scooters were parked here by days end.

I usually ride the LXV in town but took the dusty GTV in today.

Covered executive parking at work.

The fix. Prime parking for me and for Knight Train's GTS Super or his BMW R1200R.

The rest of the gang showed up today.

I had heard of ride to work day, but hadn't realised until now that it was this Monday - the first time I ever rode to work! I'm still a bit uneasy with lane splitting, so a bit more time at a standstill than I would like, but otherwise a fantastic experience.

Finally got my photo for this thread! Seems like nice spot, protected, away from cars and 30 feet from the door....except when it rains it gets drenched with runoff from the roof. Well, would get wet anyway...
