I have the distinct privilege to work under the 4th largest suspended marble dome in the world! The RI State House is #4, right after the Taj Mahal. Number 1 is St. Peters Basilica in Rome. It is a beautiful building and I am proud to work for the citizens of the Ocean State.

Here's my Marta in my parking spot. Well it's really not mine, but since I'm one of the first ones to arrive in the morning, I get to pick the best spot.

I like that you back into the spot. I should start doing that.

Besides easier exiting, there is a slight incline to the lot, so it's safer to park "downhill".

This was taken last summer when I had a job and the panels were off of the Lammie at the time. The boys were playing and decided to test out my scoot.

A year and a half ago, I rode to work, as usual, in the strong Oregon rain, like usual, and came back to discover a flash flood had taken out our parking lot. Most of us were called back early to move our vehicles but beings my route takes me to outlying areas, I wasn't able to get back in time. And since I lock the steering, moving it was near impossible for the warehouse crew.

At the worst, the water rose to just under the seat.

I pushed it to higher ground, started it up and rode home!

I changed the oil (no water), hub oil (water), spark plug (fine) and air filter (saturated). The only lasting problem was the speedomether encoder was ruined and I had to replace it.

Lesson learned: Don't lock the steering at work!

I use vespa to work pretty much most good days.

I live five miles from work but drive 20 to get there with my scooter. I keep noticing that I have a smile on my face that wasn't there before I started riding my scooter to work.

Okay, it's a holiday, but I'm at the hardware store to get supplies for work at home.

Riding the scoot makes the honey-do lists more fun, too. In the background, you may also notice that I'm not too far away from coffee, too.

Monday I took my Vespa to the dealer at 8am. I was going to take it back
home after the quick fix they did, but I am an IT guy, I started getting calls and ended up spending the day riding my GTV all over to customers. 105 degrees out, logged 107 miles. I didn't think to get pictures. But that day I was in everyones parking lot. I will enjoy the mileage reimburesement for this one.

Was wondering exactly the same thing. How do you get the scooter there in the first place?!

I feel left out of this thread. My company doesn't allow any photography on or near our facilities.

I'm BUMPing this topic, because its back to work for me in Denver tomorrow. I like my work. I like my scoot. I'll be taking my scoot to work.

I should have taken a picture today. It was me, and two other motorcycles. In a space that allows perhaps 20 PTWs. Silly fair weather motorcycle riders.

Most everyday. This is my ride home today after doing a little grocery shopping on the way home. In the rain.

Everyday except when there is ice or salt on the roads here.

Well...sort of...in two-tone. Ohh...I ride every day I can (Weather, kids, pets, etc.)
