Nerd emoticon Does anyone have the modern PPG paintcode for Blu Pavone? Want to do a base/clear paintjob.

I've seen the Max Meyer code for Blue Pavone as either: 1.298.0983 or more commonly: 2.298.7220.

As far as the modern translation I'm not sure, but this place makes spray cans amongst other things and have it listed as 220

Also call MotorSport in San Diego.. I believe they are remaking classic colors.
And Bar Italia would no doubt be a good place to ask.

For all who may be concerned, if you are looking to replicate Blu Pavone 220, I will submit that Super Blue, a proprietary color produced by PPG in it's advertisements, is an exact match. A quart of base coat will run you about $109 plus tax. With clearcoat, hardener and reducer I had about $217 invested. Cheers!

Tacking this onto a 10 year old thread.....
The very helpful color archivist at PPG in Ohio couldn't come up with anything with the Max Meyer or PPG codes other than a 1965 Nexa paint code , but it is for an obsolete line. The description "PPG Super Blue" is worthless as far as I can tell.
Looking for any input on a contemporary single stage 2K paint. Even a Sherwin Williams or Ben Moore color I could scan. Has anyone sprayed this color in the recent past who might still have the can around and could give me any info off it ?
I would happily pay all expenses, insurance, and a deposit if anyone had a glove box door I could scan and I'd turn it around in a day or so, or could get it scanned locally and give me the formula. ??
Thanks.

Glasurit paint sells the old max meyer paint. Use PIA or Piaggio and the last 3 digits of the max Meyer code.

Ppg has old max meyer paint but not that color.

Glasurit Online has it as PIAGGIO 220. The 983 is the silver for forks, hubs, etc.

When I went to Glasurit with the Bianco Spino codes a few years ago and the guy said they couldn't do it in single stage. Maybe he was wrong. I got it by scanning a chip Mr. Schnakenberg so kindly lent me but he doesn't have a 220 chip....
I will call Scooterwest ( they don't seem to list paints on their site anymore), Bar Italia, and also Glasurit to see if anyone has any clues.
