Good day folks.

Any one have any tips for prepping a Vespa for storage. I am not going to be riding over the winter and want to make sure it's prepped. No gas is pretty standard (or Sea Foam/Stabil), lubricated, and cleaned.

Other tips or tricks to make sure it starts come spring?

Thanks,
Justin

do you have a battery bike? if so, put it on a trickle charger. I kickstart my parked scooters once a week and let them warm up, then kill them. It may be paranoia, but it my brainspace, it seems to keep the fuel system clean.

I just start mine once a week , let it run for about two minutes and it gets very very cold here . Oh and I shake the tank before starting it to mix it up . Come spring it's ready to go .

Ride year round??

Sorry I don't have anything helpful to add here. This may actually be the first time in 8+ years that I pack up the bikes for the winter and just use a car so I am also interested in the responses.

On the other hand I could encourage you to ride year round

Stabil in a very full tank. Battery tender. Close tap and run it out of fuel. When you here it start dieing pull the choke to clear it all out. I also put a squirt of WD40 in the spark hole.
