Please provide highway ride reviews... getting up to speed, keeping up with traffic, top end, passiing on the freeway, etc. I want the 400 but an considering getting the 250 at this time.
This post should get you started on some of that.
To add to that, the 250 is a very nice bike. While it can do freeways, and while it is very very stable on the freeway, it has a lower top end than the GTS and not very much oomph in the last 20% or so. Sometimes you've just got to go into full scooter tuck and try and try to get up to speed. If freeway touring is what you're after, and it's a primary consideration, you should definitely wait for the 400. If you want to tear up the twisties, the 250 is as good as it gets.

ALSO: is it possible to simply turn the wheel to the extreem right or left and loop in little circles? What is the tightest loop that can be made?
Yes and no. You still need to lean over in order to effectively steer, and at some point, the slow speed vs. the lack of G-force holding you to the seat will make you fall off or put a foot down. You can do pretty tight loops, like maybe just a bit larger than the width of a lane.
