I had some damage to the front and back headset on my lx150, so ordered replacements. Am having a problem getting it to fit . The back fits tight against the metal brackets, so assume its seated correctly. Front section, left grip side is fine as is everything up to the fit under the right grip. Seems as if there just isn't enough of the front headset to come under the grip and meet with the back. Have checked and rechecked to see if there is wiring or something else obstructing the right side, don't see anything. Anyone have any suggestions? Dealer input? I have to assume the replacement parts are ok as they all come from the same mold. help. thanks.

Damage?

Any possibility the mounting brackets on the handlebar are bent?

Thank you, but they are not bent as the damage was just broken plastic from over tightening one of the lower screws that hold the two sections together.

Your turn signal wires may be getting caught when assembling,
It may be hitting the horn cover
