Going for a test ride tomorrow. Morton's BMW in Fredericksburg, Va, has a demo unit. Three GT's and one Sport in stock. I went by and sat on it today. Jeff. the owner, and I discovered that a XXXL full face Scorpion, will fit very nicely, in the pet carrier. Nice comfortable scoot. Nice price too. Let me know if anyone wants to meet me there.

That must be the norm on allocations.
I did a test ride last Saturday for a little under 1 hour.
My Dealer had 3 GT's and 1 Sport as well.
They will make them available for sale in the afternoon.

Plenty of power @ 650cc's, I thought I was a little short for the bike.
The only complaint I had was the gas tank is right next to the front seat, so it makes it next to impossible to have the seat lowered. I decided since this is the first year this bike is being sold, I would wait for the next model year to give them an opportunity to get any problems resolved. If Piaggio was to finally deliver some New MP3's by then, I will go with the MP3 instead.

When I talked to the local BMW dealer several months ago, he indicated that four would be the minimum order from BMW. At that time they weren't sure they would get four unless they had firm orders.

I have a 30" inseam also, and could almost flat foot. It has a very comfortable heated seat, with backrest. A heated seat for passenger also.
Akrapovic exhaust. The rear wheel comes off by removing 5 bolts. Super easy. Battery is behind the right front plastic, which is removed by 4 screws.

As I have posted before, the scuttlebutt going around various dealers (presumably originating from Piaggio North America) is that we will see a 350 MP3 City (Yourban body style) in the 2014 model year. I doubt we will hear anything more formal than that before Piaggio is ready to make an official public announcement. I'd guess that would not happen before sometime next year. Piaggio has learned their lesson about speculating on future actions in the US market long before real decisions have been made. (remember the MP3 hybrid )
