Wow look at Normandy Beach. They (NJ) def got it the worse. My bad for saying this but i won't miss the Jersey Shore House. Good find FROG. 8)

I grew up in a house on a bluff over a river and a park.

Every year, the park would flood numerous times. And this was in the Detroit area. The Rouge River floods Hein's Park every year.

Every fort and clubhouse we ever built, was washed away. It didn't matter to us, because we were just kids. We would just build another. It was amazing the power of the water, to move logs and topple trees. And this was just a small river.

Because of this I would never ever buy a home by a river or an ocean. All it takes is one flood, and gone.

That was a friggin Frankenstorm! So sorry for the people in New Jersey and New York. I live in PA and we just got our power back today. Amazing how much we take for granted. My prayers go out to those affected.

I went to undergrad down the shore. Sorry to see the boards all torn up.
