Modern Vespa

HI all ,

i am new to this also a new vespa rider, i have a et4 125 and its making a clunking sound from the front end ( possibly from the wheel). it is getting louder day by day worse when doing low speed then it sounds like its gone s ( possibly at the engine is drowning out the noise .
any suggestions in what it could be
the scooter has just hit 9000 mils and is a 2002

Aloha and welcome to the forum from Hawaii. Have you checked the tire to see if it's loose and also the shock? If you can capture the sound and post it, it would be helpful. Hopefully it's something minor

It could be the steering head bearings.

Put it on the centerstand, have someone sit on the back of the seat to raise the front end off the ground, grab the front wheel and try to move it forward and backward and look for free play. If it has been loose for any significant period of time they are probably damaged and need replacement. YMMV
