Modern Vespa

Walking on the Rue Saint Honore today I spotted this scooter in the showroom window. The scooter and helmet are made of chocolate! Glad it was closed or I may have owned a big chunk of it.

What an amazing time you are having. I followed your cross-Egypt ride: amazing! Not to mention your Cannonball run, plus all the miles you tacked onto that! And now you're in Paris??

Vespa or lambretta?

I think that depends if it's light or dark chocolate.

Somebody had to be here. Besides you parked the vespa and are taking the "BMW" to work. Not often you see that happen, but I bet it is more relaxing. How long is the walk at the other end?

Hah! Nice to meet a reader. To be honest, the office is moving to new digs, and there is a ton of preparation/packing to do, on top of the work at this time of year, so the 'BMW' is on hold and I took the Civic in. Otherwise, if it's exercise I want, it's 20 minutes of walking to the train, then 15 minutes to the office at the other end. Repeat at night. All told, excellent exercise, especially if you cut it close and end up speed-walking.

I'm still jealous Ken.

I went back to get another look at the chocolate scooter today. Looking through the window I saw a delivery truck hit a delivery scooter. I am glad to say the drivers are ok and the delivery truck escaped any damage. Not the scooter.

I just want to be the one who gets to nibble the mirrors off.
