Has anyone found an upgrade or improved headlamp for a 2003 Piaggio LT150/ET4? The original isn't very good in that the high beam shows up at the trees and the low beam is fair at best. I'm afraid if I adjust it to lower the high beam the low beam would just shine on my fender. I think there's a halogen bulb in the original but, if not, I'd like to know if anyone has a number for a halogen bulb to replace it with.
Is an aftermarket headlamp available for this scooter?
Thanks for any helpful replies.

6 months ago I replaced the stock bulb on my 2007 lx 150 with a Xenon charged h7 bulb. The light it puts out is cool blue. I've been happy with the increased light output and have had no issues so far.

Thanks! I may look into that bulb. Where did you purchase one? Also, I presume it didn't do anything with how the high beam shines too high, did you need to adjust the headlamp after installing the bulb?

I put a Vleds in mine and also put them in my turn signals. Using the ice blue running lights with an amber turn signal. Greatest thing i ever did. I can see so much better at nite. Also helps me be seen during the day as well. My headlight was the ice blue as well. Not cheap but well worth it. Good luck with your project.

Wally. The original place i got mine from has gone under. I wouldn't do it again. It caused my headlight(hig and low beams) to go out and i currently have no light. We put the small light bulb back in so i'd have something. It's a bitch trying to find the cause. We've changed out everything and still no joy. Our scooters have little extra power and i have HID euro turn signals also. That mod and the headlight HID might be the cause. Just one and you might get lucky. It will be good for a few years but when it goes it's not fun. This is what happened to mine but others may have more luck.

Thanks for the warning Judy. I am sorry about your misfortune.
It sounds weird that a light bulb would cause your headlights to malfunction. I did put and LED signal light in front of the scooter after I removed those signal lights under the brakes. Not sure if you know this, but those LED uses less power and needs a condenser (i think that's what it is called) to reduce the wattage going to the LED lights, otherwise they will burn the bulb or not work. I think I saw some posting somewhere, maybe Scooter West.
My two cents contribution.
