I gather inaccurate data for a living. Luckily no one uses it.
You know, that's interesting. I have often observed that there is so much more inaccurate data than good data that it should be pretty easy to gather it all up thus leaving only the good data. We wouldn't need people to gather good data because it would just be there for anybody to use. You will be a hero.

Just doing my part.
Ha! Love it!
Don't know whether you work for the government or for a government contractor (essentially the same thing with lousier benefits), but this favorite quote of mine is likely appropriate regardless:
"The government are very keen on amassing statistics. They collect them, add them, raise them to the nth power, take the cube root and prepare wonderful diagrams. But you must never forget that every one of these figures comes in the first instance from the village watchman, who just puts down what he damn pleases."
