Hi!
I've begun working on changing the looks of my 250 GTS. I'm really interested in replacing my wheels with MP3 wheels. I haven't had much luck searching for a place to get these wheels. While I'm here, though, I wanted to make a few questions about them since I haven't had much success searching the forum.

1) Where can I buy them online?
2) What are the part numbers? I need a rear MP3 wheel and a front right MP3 wheel, correct?
3) Is it true they are lighter than stock GTS wheels? If so by how much?
4) What are my other options when it comes to fitting wheels on my 250GTS?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Welcome to MV.

1. Several places - your local dealer might be the best bet though.
2. You are looking for two 12" MP3 front rims. 647744 (MP3 250), 648625 (MP3 400) or 649372 (MP3 500) - the differences being in colour finish I believe. If you ask on the MP3 part of MV one of the guys there can probably be more specific on colour. I've used the 500 rims (black) on my GTS300 with success.
3. I'm not sure they're significantly lighter. They might be.
4. Some have successfully fited 13" rims, others have fitted wider tyres.

Thanks a lot for the welcome!

Your info was very helpful!!

Only one question remains unclarified (and to me it will be decisive on wether or not I get them) are MP3 wheels lighter or are they not?

I will look into it.
If anyone knows I'd really appreciate some numbers!

Thanks!

Scooterwest.com has them...

They have the 13" Yourban ones which are very nice.
You will have to use a Lower Height Tire on your bike which they also have in stock.
