I would never use Cat 5 to tie a scoot down with Geeze. Laughing emoticon but the concept of securing the hook end to the tiedown point with a zip-tie is a good idea, so the hook will not bounce out of the eye bolt if there ever was enough slack in the tie down.
Jeez.... everyone knows cat 6 is minimum for high speed hauling tie down. Spend extra for shielded cat 6 to avoid interference.
maybe I should just upgrade to fiber optic. it is faster and bet it comes in red too

No you didn't. The zip tie is just keeping the hook in place. It is not in line asorbing any force. The hook is securely fastened to the anchor point and the zip tie is just keeping the works together in case of a sudden slackening of the tie down strap. Why is this so hard for you to get? NO FORCES ON THE ZIP TIE! Done with it.
Sorry that sounded a bit harsh. Should a put a on it.

Ok, so a question about DMV and registering the trailer
Ok so a question about DMV, the DMV site blows but whatever.

From what i can gather, I dont need a title for the trailer.
Im in NY.

I have a Transferable registration doc. and the inspection sticker
and a printed statement that says I bought it for $350. and signed by seller.

Will I need anything else to get this thing on the road?

Thanks guys, and chill out a wee bit, I understand all thus far.

This is a state specific question - every stae is different, so I can't help you. Just watch the road - some trailers have plates and some don't. Varies state to state.

That may be true because of the size/cost of the trailer
