Yesterday endured 3 hours of pain to do something I wanted to do for 5 years.

Got a second tattoo!

This one is a tiki with wings.

The wings represent the "wings" on the emblems of my three rides.

Vespa, Ducati, Honda Cafe Racer

Never recalled the first tattoo being so painful...but I toughed it out like a true biker.

Then I had to face up to the lovely wife.

(I am doing fine and will be out of hospital next week)

I watched a 20 year old girl get her entire shoulder to her shoulder balade done in roses and stuff yesterday. I thought...this will eventually end in regrets. She wasnt drunk BTW.

For me..no regrets ever...and at my age of 59 ...not likely to now either... but no more tattoos required. (I finished the "project" of 2 tatts yesterday.)

It was interesting that when I was asked by various people what it meant to me...they all got the WINGS bit...as part of the motorbike emblems (Ducati, Honda, Vespa) and thought it a cool idea in conjunction with the TIKI. ( a very NZ / Pacific icon).
