Let me start with i, unfortunately, failed to take pics while i did this. But i got to test ride the BMW C 650 GT today. Thanks to BMW Tigard which were nice enough to let me try this around their entire lot.

First off i want to start with it did not have a third wheel!

There are two versions The C600 and the C650. The GT version is more of a touring version of the two. Both versions have front and back seat and handle warmers. Both have 2 glove compartments up front and in those compartments are lighter sockets for charging your phone or gps or what not. Another feature is that they both are ABS equipped. The difference with the sport vs the touring versions are the GT has power windshield adjuster while the sport has manual adjustments. The GT has an adjustable back rest and has more foot room for the driver and passenger.

The motor seems to be fast as well with automatic CVT transmission which sounds the same as the mp3. The speed was fast and responds very well. But then again i ride a 250cc compared to 650cc.

The ride was very steady with a strange feeling when turning. It almost feels like its turning for you... im not sure whats doing that. I feel like i may oversteer because the handlebar seems to keep turning even if i want to counter it already. Something that an owner may need to get used too. The windshield adjusts but seems to be not fit for a 5'10 rider like me. This is because the highest point of the windshield is exactly in the cross between looking through the glass and looking to the horizon without the glass. This may work well for shorter riders. The throttle warmers are life changing. I want some. The seat warmers were negligible. I was wearing normal jeans and i barely felt the warms. The headlights were good with some fancy led lights that stay on for a few seconds after you turn it off. Oh. and speaking of turning it off. The bike turns off by either hitting the switch off or by putting the side stand down.

As far as the price. 11K. Now that seems steep. But if you think about it. The MP3 500 is just under 9K. But with out heated stuff, power adjust shield, 600cc, spotted with LED, BMW bing... it might not be so bad... This is scooter to scooter tho... Clown emoticon Overall if you want a scooter that is comfy and has bling then this may work for you... As far as head turner factor though. I think the mp3's third wheel still trumps this category Nerd emoticon

Thanks so much Pq. Let me ask the question that many scooter riders, and especially MP3 owners, want to ask but are afraid to:

If I buy one of these, am I going to have to design yet another set of footpeg brackets for my feet to rest comfortably? How about my passenger? Say 5'8 to 6'2 for the driver and 5'3 to 5'7 for the pillon?

I've been hoping that you buy a Burgman 650.. to be honest.... although the need is not as pressing as it was an MP3... but I do miss mine..
