I can't find the alarm connector harness on my GTV 300. Trying to hook up an all time on adapter. Help!

Sitting on the bike, it's the left black plastic panel above the glovebox, right about at your knee. Big huge white connector under that. Can't miss it.

Thanks..
I already drilled that panel but did not see a empty or open plug for my adapter. Is it in use? What do I lose by disconnecting it from where it is currently?

There are 3 white connectors mounted on a piece of metal. The biggest is in the back and will not fit connector ScooterWest sent.

Take a look at this. See if it helps.

I recently added a turn signal beeper and 12V power outlet. I started out planning to use that connector but found it rather difficult to get a hold of.

Behind that plastic panel there is a metal bracket with three connectors attached. The alarm connector is underneath and somewhat behind the front edge of the bracket. I was able to just get my fingers in there to grasp it but could not reliably tap into it. (Did not have a mating connector, just solder-tinned wire ends.)

In the end I gave up on using the connector and at JimC's advice removed the whole glovebox/kick panel to splice into the wires behind the connector and into the brake wire on one of those other connectors.

It was a 4-hour job for me, being my first time in there. The panel-removal instructions and wiring diagram in the Haynes manual were critical.

If you do this, be very careful not to let any of the panel clips fall off and down into the chassis. I lost one and can now only hope it isn't resting pointy-side-down on a coolant hose or a wire.

Beepers is there any reason why you can't connect them behind the indicators connected to the wiring there?

No I'm sure that would work too.

I started from this article: Turn Signal Beeper and 12V Power Outlet on a GTS
Which says to insert solder-tinned wires into the alarm connector.

But I was influenced by JimC's comments on that thread and several others to ground it to the brake line so that there's no beeping when the brakes are on.

After I asked a few questions on another thread, JimC suggested just splicing into the wires, using the wiring diagram as a guide. And that's what I did.

I'm confident at cutting and splicing/soldering and it only took the wiring diagram and a volt meter to be sure I was cutting the right ones, which turn out to be four from behind the alarm connector and one from one of those other connectors mounted on the plate behind the left knee panel.

I was asking as I don't really want to take my bike apart as it is the lxv and does not have any room in the headstock,

This article should cover what you are trying to do:
ALL: Loud Turn Signals Save Lives

It's not covered there but you may be able to find the brake wire as well. Not having the beeps with the brakes on is a nice feature. I don't think I would put up with it otherwise.

I don't wish to appear a numpty but not great on electronics but what purpose are the diodes connected for?

I presume that the buzzer is 12v dc

When you engage the turn signal switch, the turn signal flasher pulses +12V to the turn signal light bulb, the other terminal of which is grounded. So current flows through the circuit and the bulb whenever the voltage is present.

The diodes ensure that current only flows in one direction through the add-on circuitry shown. If you were to skip the diodes and just wire it, current would flow over to the other side causing both left and right indicators flash regardless of which way you are signalling.

This is a very nice solution if it works on your Bike...
Just replace the Vespa Relay with this one that makes Noise...
It sounds similar to the Genuine Buddy Indicators.

Found the jack. It was buried. Had to remove glove box to find it. Could not see it without separating glove box section.
