Engine light intermittently comes on. What have been some causes from other riders. It stated after I tried toggling between High and low beams to simulate both lights on. Also the exhaust bushing has worn out and causing possible problems. Any feed back appreciated.

Take it down to the dealer and have them check the codes being put out. Anything else is just a guess, and it's better to know.

If your check engine light is coming on when your rpm increases but off at idle then you may have a bad voltage regulator. It happened on my 250 so I did a wiki on it. Have a look. MP3 250: Removal of the voltage regulator

Oh and if you find this is the case do not ride until you get it fixed or you will cook your battery.

Easy to get to like Sticky said to replace.
Dam GTS, it's a nightmare to replace where its located.

I forgot to see if the person who made the orignal post was in the US.
The best price I have seen on this part is AF1 Racing by the way.
I ordered one a few months ago.
