1979 50 s with a 125cc engine and a malossi 135cc kit and a dellorto 25 carb. so the oil/fuel is leaking where the exhaust connects to the engine and where it wraps around and connects to the tunned exhaust this is leaking so much it will drips down on the rim solid black. my qusetions is why is there so much oil/fuel going thru my exhaust? i know i should replace the gaskets and this would help but thats not the problem is it? just not sure why its not being burnt up in my engine i made the fuel a little leaner and its the same

To me it sounds like two issues.

One is the gasket area(showing the second issue), which I'm gonna guess is over jetted and/or high ratio fuel oil mix.

How does it run?

And what percentage do you mix?

Hmm

The kit you have is cool and the carb is a good size.

I'm gonna say to check/repair the gasket and manifold areas first.

I don't know whats going on with your bike.

But from what you have stated, you have issues with manifold leaks.

Smallframes are very very sensitive. If there is one thing wacky then it can effect the running. Not as forgiving as lets say a P series.

So I suggest you double check/repair any exaust leaks then move on to possible overjetting or ?

What you are seeing more than likely is un-spent fuel.

The 2t is designed to burn a percentage of un-burt gases.

If you have an exhaust issue than maybe you are seeing the drippings of that.

*You can not properly tune your carb if you have exhaust issues or as I have mentioned many times, old clogged pipes.*
