Somewhere I changed a setting to highlight a word searched on a page to grey. I'm having hell seeing the highlighted word in gray. I cannot find where to change the highlight color. I'm working on my snowblower manual and it's very hard to see. HELP!

Very nice Mac help! I wonder how many of us are Mac users? I run my local MUG, and used to work as a Specialist (blue shirt guy) at an Apple Store, so I probably know a tad more than the average user. But I'm still learning every day and some of the old time Mac users I've met surprise me with their knowledge.
Re: Ctrl Opt Cmd 8, I was working the phones one day at the store when a customer called in a panic. She said her cat had walked across her keyboard and ruined her Mac. She said her screen now looked all wonky. Well, you can guess the "fix" I recommended. |
