My computer is back from the shop with double the memory and 400 emails I missed.

The weather in Kansas is very windy. I spent 4 hours on the scooter yesterday with my new tall windscreen. Let's just say that it was a work out to keep the scooter stable.

Tomorrow will be even worse with 45 mph wind gusts.

On the light side I will be having drinks with my BFF tonight and catching up with her since I haven't seen her for weeks.

Sunday VRM and I are going to Kansas City to sightsee and pick up a vintage Vespa with a side car thingie. It's a 3 and half hour drive. Then load up the beast, strap it down, and drive back.

I couldn't think of a better way to spend the weekend and welcome our Winter weather. Although it's been windy, it has also been unseasonably warm with near record highs. Sunday the Winter will show its ugly claws and there is not much hope for anything better afterwards.

in california right now. tonight we are having a "celebration of life" for my uncle who passed.
stupid shitty hyatt in valencia has no free wifi anywhere. currently at the embassy suites in glendale mooching wifi off of the lobby.
haven't been this cold in so long!
also, haven't been on MV in days and looks like i missed a bunch of stuff. probably will not be back on for a few more days since this is the only night i will get to spend with wifi (unless i go hang out in a starbucks or something which i doubt will happen because i keep getting drug around by family.)

Grass fed beef stew with fresh fall root veggies and the last of the herb garden goodies. Parsley, Italian parsley, thyme, and rosemary. Love those roots! Oh that and having to listen to my buddy in WA complain about snipping 6 grocery bags of buds to deliver to the reseller. Tested at 22%. And I go to jail. Fuckers! No I don't cuz I'm an asshole and afraid of the dick breaths that will put me in jail. Oh wait....this isn't "what pissed you off"...

One of the most colorful and beloved members of Circle 4/Crazy Mary's passed away this week, so we are giving him a scooter escort to the cemetery tomorrow. RIP Brian. I don't know if he was on here or not, he was primarily a biker who came to scooters later in life. Then I'm going over to my younger son's house and help him and his SO plant a tree.

Almost no riding this weekend. Went away to a to my home town where a different world still exists.

As Max said we're going to KCMO to pick up my new to me P200E/sidecar rig. No doubt I will be spending the whole day Monday playing with it. It's been sitting for twenty years so all the rubber will need to be replaced. Looks good though. Pictures to follow.

YANO sucks that expensive hotels don't have free wifi. I'm not doing much of anything. I might do my walks but i plan on bothering Nemo the bunny and cleaning out my desk. Might go for a ride but it's looking like rain right now. Might have a marathon of "watch the stuff that's been on the DVR for years".

Condolences to your Family.

That's that way I would want my funeral...a "Celebration of Life"...for those who are still living...move on and make sure you do something good the living...humans and animals alike.

Life is so fleeting and fragile...

Condolences to the Family of Circle 4/Crazy Mary. I've been having several folks pass away...good solid individuals.

I've been attempting to reach out to folks who I want to thank who have helped my in the first chapter of my life as I begin my second chapter in retirement.

I was pleasantly surprise that I was able to hook up with several...one was a sad situation when I found out Richard had passed away somewhat unexpectantly...we had said we'd get together and routinely play some golf when I retired...sad.

Another was a teacher, Mr. Nagaishi that encouraged me and boosted my confidence, which had an effect on me as I went on to middle school.

Another was a friend, Albert Kalawe, that I haven't communicated with in almost 50 years and when we hooked up he said he was so happy, as he put it "I thought of you almost every other day during the past 50 years!" Albert was just glad that we hooked up...he just underwent by-pass surgery...life can be so very fragile.

There are more and I'm making an effort to reach out before it's too late.

I'm getting a little worried about Lime Cat...keep us posted.

Puttanesca night at the KBBQ-

Super Senior with recent knee replacement (per previous posting) realized that we recently signed a condo "whole house" agreement with cable company

Mary was simply hooked up to the cable antenna and picking up just the basic digital channels.

The new "whole house" agreement included two cable boxes (first box is free and second box is free for two years), HD package and one box with DDR.

So in two years Mary will just end up paying $13.00 for the bedroom box.

Mary asks us to call on her behalf and coordinate the sign up for this package and then wants to pick up a new 55" LCD for her living room and then move the 40" into her bedroom.

Mary requested my wife and self would undertake this task, giving up full reign of what should be done to accomodate here needs. So it's off to Best Buy. Armed with her check book we picked up her new LCD and coordinated the install of the articulating mount for the 55" in her living room. Then move the 40" and mount in bedroom. We pushed to have this done ASAP as we had this "Super Senior" on our tails to get it done!

All in all this all took place in a matter of days.

Mary now has her gathering of Senior ladies sitting and watching HD stations...Life is Good!...or so we thought...

Mary now wants articualting wall mount for bedroom TV...this will be done this week! Mary now is down with a cold and has slowed down...we're now watching over her...chicken soup, rest and TV....

BTW...Mary's a good person and we enjoy her company...hence it's not a problem helping her out!
