Couldn't smile any bigger. What a great machine. Nothing more than tires, oil, belts and rollers. Here's to hoping for a few more sunny days before winter hits.

Hehe, yes Judy. It was only yesteryear when I sold my beloved Daring Plum LX150 and bragged of my new GT.
And being from WI I am proud of my 20k! On average our riding season is April-October. I've rode later this year surprisingly. It may reach the 50's during the day but if its in the 30's when I wake up...I'm taking the cage. The ride isn't fun if I'm numb!! |

These things are virtually bullet proof. I have nearly 24,000 miles on my GT200. Just put 1200 miles on it over a five day trip to/from Jacksonville, FL and Key West -- with nary a problem. In fact, I've done three of these long distance rides in the last 18 months and the only problem was a self-inflicted blown fuse on one occasion.

Congrats Scoot, good to see the Gt's reliable, mines a 2003 with only 10.000Km on the clock so got a way to catch up!

Congratulations of passing 20,000 miles. It is just getting broken in. Mine passed 45,000 miles Sunday on a 200 mile lunch ride south of town.

Congrats Scoot!
I am over 23K on my white GT and over 25K on my grey GT. I had put 13K on the black GT before I totalled it. Combine those miles with the ones the small frame and the P200 get on the weekends - and you will wonder why I bother insuring the Jetta!! A thousand two wheeled miles a month... staying alive. I love San Diego year-round riding weather though - I can say I have that advantage! Bless the GT Appreciation Society! |

Buglake I'm VERY jealous of your CA weather. We've thought about moving many times. I couldn't imagine NOT having to put my scooter away each year. The idea if being able to ride all year blows my mind!!
Oh we'll...it was 60 and sunny on Saturday and was snowing tonight. Yay. |

i'm around 17k (bought at 11k) but recently got a car as a daily driver and the mileage is going to accumulate fairly slow now... but would love to see 20k some day (already have the belt/rollers ready for that service ) |
