Woo-Hoo! Did you all have this much FUN the first time you rode? Razz emoticon

We picked up my Typhoon 125 yesterday and I'm having the time of my life!

I posted with concerns about riding on my gravel and dirt road in this thread (with pictures) and I got lots of good advice. Riding on Gravel and Hills

Today, after riding around in the driveway to get my bearings, I rode up and down that road several times Wha? emoticon It's incredible and I'm completely hooked! I LOVE it!

ONE QUESTION: Does anyone use NoToil Air Filter Cleaner?
http://notoil.com/products/air-filter-cleaner-2-item.html
Would it be OK to use that on my scooter?

The answer is yes, I had this feeling the first time I rode a scooter.

Better get used to that feeling. It comes from recapturing an extra sense of youthful freedom, having a scooter that serves you well, asking little in return, and the rediscovery of your world with a view much less obstructed by the pillars and walls of a 4-wheeled cage.

Thanks everyone!

Being careful is my FIRST priority. I am going to take small steps by riding around here first, and then when I'm more confident, I will venture out to where I may encounter some traffic. Then onto pavement.

My husband has been riding for about 45 years and is still an ATGAT rider. He is teaching me everything about riding on two wheels and accompanying me at every step. I don't think I'd have the confidence to move forward without his focused tutelage.

Congratulations!

Have fun and ride safe!

Per your post there are issues with gravel and some of it nothing to do with going over the road at normal speed. Watch the slow turn and opening up throttle along with planting your foot down on gravel (from someone whose gone thru these experiences!)

The soles of my boots got "broken in" yesterday. But I got pretty good at going slowly while keeping them up. The seat on this bike is low enough that I can stand flat footed on both feet. It "fits" me really well.

Thanks for all the well-wishes!

Awesome and just take it slow. The larger tires on the Typhoon do dirt better than our little Vespas. I had a LT 150 which looks like the Typhoon and it liked the dirt roads.Have fun and be careful out there.
