09 gtv 250. i've seen some videos that you unbolt the whole exhaust and i have read where you can unbolt after the down pipe. that bring in the chance of needing a new bushing. it looks easier to go that route but how hard is it to not tear up the bushing when putting it back together? i guess it is a good idea to have a spare on hand just in case. just like to hear some opinions since this will be my first tire change. there is 2600 miles on it and since i have it off i thought in the long run it might be good just to replace the rear pads also. guess i will know when i can get a good look at them when the tire is off. they should still have some life in them yet. also the 62p on the tire. is the "p" a speed rating? i've seen a 56p for a michelin power pure. but i don't know for sure what that means. thanks, doug

The 62P rating is rated for speeds up to 62mph I believe...

The "P" means 93mph max and the number is the load weight....

Wow, was I was misinformed, my info came from a website selling tires. Thanks for the great chart! Guess we scooter riders don't need to worry about exceeding the speed rating on tires!...

Hey Doug, I don't have much experience with the graphite bushing because early on in started using the aftermarket brass/bronze one. That has its own demons. However, I'll turn you to the following discussion -- Exhaust Bushing There you'll have some good answers, and pay attention to JimC's final comment. You can find other relevent discussions searching "graphite" or "graphite bushing." Good luck.
