After my last oil change, for some reason when I slow down at a stop light or sign my oil light will flash on 2 or 3 times then go off till the next time I slow down. Why would it do this? I constantly check the oil level and it's fine.

How much oil did you put in? With or without filter?

Sounds like a classic low oil level. Dumb question, but I assume you are reading the oil level correctly?

I did it correctly & have done it several times with no issues. I filled it up with the filter in.

Have you checked the oil level after you have filled and run it for a while? That is, have you checked the oil level after the low oil light came on?

Sounds like a interesting case. I wish I had some good feedback for you? Did you check all wires? Is there a oil level sending unit that would be faulty?

In a car, this problem is usually due to sludge in the engine, blocking the oil return passages and causing slow drain back. It can also be a faulty oil pressure sending unit.

What brand and viscosity oil are you using?

I would check oil pressure with a mechanical gauge first. If the pressure is good, replace the sensor.
