I thinking about buying a Piaggio BV 500 with 35 K . there asking for 2500 for. Yet they saying no they ve not change the belt , rollers and the orginal clutch. They bought it with 20 000 K 2 years ago. I m I right in thinking the parts are going to be 400 bucks to go get. Would I be right in guessing there's another 20 000 K left in it or so? It would make a nice replacement for my old helix .

Shouldn't need to replace the clutch at that low a miles.
Belt and rollers should only be around $150

I'd buy it if I needed a large scoot and it was in good condition with maintenance records. I'd also replace the belt and rollers right away .

That sounds like an outstanding deal assuming that it has no issues other than the usual stuff for a scooter of that age/mileage.

I am 6'2" - so the BV is OK but I feel a bit scrunched up at the front because of the seat hump. That's easy to fix with a custom seat however. On a BV500 I don't feel as much like a bear on a bicycle when riding one compared with say a S50.
