I haven't been around much and the last week has been a total C-F. Last Friday Nov. 9 I rode to work, parked my scooter, did my usual lock downs, and went to work. No problem until loss prevention called me to their office. That is unusual and seeing a police officer standing there was not something you want to see. He was filling out a report on my scooter and needed the vin number. It turns out someone threw it in the back of a truck, well actually two worthless soles according to a witness.
The upshot is, the witness did not get a license number so my scooter is gone. I've only had it since April and miss riding like nothing I can describe especially when I dump $40 to $50 worth of gas in the truck a couple times a week.
Any one in Kentucky or close by hears anything let me know. But it doesn't look good so far. The police have "closed" the case because the witness could not give them any information that would lead them to a suspect. Also keep those eyes and ears open for any chop parts showing up. The front end was locked, the immobilizer in play, and I also had the front disk brake locked to the wheel with a Kryptonite lock.
