Modern Vespa

A couple of weeks ago I posted about my scooter mishap. Thank you for the MV.com support BTW. Well today I am sort of feeling like I have dumped my tragedy on a lot of MV members. It was a confusing time for me and for a few days I thought I would never own a vespa again. It is unfair only to share my drama and leave the joy behind. This new beginning has prompted me to share some pictures of my new Vespa acquisition (sp!). The emblems were placed yesterday so this is show time.

Good for you Max! Beautiful scoot. It's Dragon Red not Ruby Red, but it is in Kansas. There may be some wizardly magic hidden away in its heart.

I am thinking about making a giant X-mas bow for it. It's red. I know. Red and Green. Wait, is that X-massy? I thought it was Italian? Oh, c'on it looks good with my Corazzo gear (thanks Scootchef)!

Why the emblems going back on?

Well I just needed to have new emblems. Yeah right like that is gonna fly! There was a baptismal crash. Hence the scratched crash bar.

My previous post about the paint looking good was an inside joke between Max and myself. Max let the cat out of the bag so I can talk about it now. He laid it down a week after he bought it and I repainted it. He thinks I was partially at fault. I say he was following too close.

Yes nice scoot Max. 2006 was the first GTS for the United States and red is the fastest color for sure.
