Hey gang, I am doing a holiday light tour in December with the LASG (Los Angeles Scooter Group) and I wanted to decorate my scoot with some lights. Do you have any recommendations for good lights that will plug into the 12v accessory plug? I have found some online but I really look to the members here for the best advice.

My apologies if this has been asked before, but I did not find it. Thanks!

Personally I'd use the battery powered led lights. Cheap and don't drain the battery.

Hmm, I thought Santa used those soft plant ties to attach lights to chrome bits.

I haven't used them, but I'm a fan of these:
LED Magnetic Digital Graffiti

I've always used the battery operated strings in the past.

I think that you are all on the same page here and I just ordered some battery operated lights. Easy enough and I wont have to worry about the wear on the battery. I will post pics!

Connect an Inverter. Used this to power the 115v lights on a parade veh once worked great. I don't think you could connect enough mini bulb lights to cause a problem...... yet YMMV

I have some battery powered ones. Haven't used them yet. Thanks for reminding me. Maybe i'll ride Leo in our little country parade this year. I need to figure out how to attach them so they won't scratch the paint. Yes i'm anal. Have fun with them. 8)

I would add keep everything you decorate with away from your headlight. Headlights get very hot, are air cooled and expensive to replace after something gets melted to it.

I used a couple regular 120V LED strings and connected them through an inverter to the 12V outlet in the pet carrier. I used them quite a bit last season and never had a battery issue. I wrapped them around the seat area and zip-tied them in a few places to keep everything secure.
