Modern Vespa

My wife spotted a black MP3 on El Camino Real Road in Oceanside, CA yesterday afternoon. I have verified with the only other MP3 rider that I know up in Oceanside that it was not him. Does anyone have an idea who it might be? Maybe when I get my replacement bike within the next few weeks it might be cool to break it in by doing a north San Diego county MP3 ride.

Yes I live in San Diego too.. It would be nice to get together with other owners in the area to ride.. I've got the 500 my wife the 400.

I have been contacted by the insurance company property damage folks and bodily injury folks. Since I was not hurt very badly, the bodily injury settlement should go rather quickly. However, an actual adjuster has not contracted me to come out and view the bike yet. Rather irritating, to say the least.

On a positive note, Dawn and I got on her bike tonight and rode down to the Fresh & Easy grocery store about 3 miles away from our house. This was my first ride since the collision. I really enjoyed the outing and it just showed me how much I missed riding. Of.course, this was under cover of darkness so the pink color wasn't quite so obvious.

Call them and explain that you are being denied the use of your property and will be demanding compensation from date of loss until the matter is settled. Should help light a fire under their ass

Maybe a MP3 only ride at Amerivespa since they are having a vintage only. Someday I will host an all plastic scooter party Yes! Tupperware 2013!

lol, amen brother I'll be riding the MP3 from Oside to the base tomorrow morning. Brought it up for routine maintenance and cleaning.

I actually saw a black 250/400 style MP3 on Vandegrift Rd at the intersection of Basilone Rd this morning on the way to work. If I had not already been committed to turning right instead of going straight, I would have followed the biker to see where they went.
