So this maybe a newb question....

So i have been riding through all types of weather. I plan to keep it that way all year round. The question is.... How bad is the rain/water for the electronics of the bike? (ie the guages, starter, turn signal, digital display) are these things water proof/resistant or are they completely vaunerable to the elements?

Thanks!

Mine has lived outside in UK weather all its five years. No problems with electrics once all the electrical connectors have been treated with dielectric grease.

Without such treatment be prepared for expensive surprises with the hidden fuse, the turn signal flasher, the stator connection, light switches - all of them in fact!

Did it myself. Many UK dealers do the more vital bits at PDI, saves grief down the line. Just get a small tube of silicone grease and set-to...

Can you better describe the Locations of the "Hidden Fuse", "Turn signal Flasher", and "Stater Connection"?
