Haven't had time to ride the GTS in quite awhile -- work needs forced me to choose over and over again "The Van". It was just hell...
But this morning I was all set to ride the Vespa on a sunny, 27F day. Start up the scooter, go 10 feet and it died. Tried to restart but it only takes a moment to identify the futility of cranking a GTS. If it was going to start it would. Later I discovered the sparkplug wire burned off the plug cap. Just ordered a replacement from Scooterwest.
All was not lost though. I still wanted to ride. So I pushed the Vespa back into the garage and grabbed my daughter's Yamaha Vino. Started right up and off I went. Not as quick as the GTS but still a lot of fun. Shot a picture on the way into town with the iPhone of the Vino with the ice and frost...
