Wish we had twisties like that in Kansas. The only consolation for me is the highway exits on Sunday. That's when I get to practice my maximum leaning.

Anyone from the DC area wanna do one for ONC? (Our Nation's Capital) I've got a camera that would work, with maybe even less jitter...we could make tourist themed.

Thanks for posting that, much appreciated, especially because my scoot is under wraps.
I had the pleasure of doing the PCH from LA to Santa Barbara last May... but in a Volvo but it was still a blast. Also last May I got to ride on the west coast but in B.C. That time I was on a borrowed scoot, a 200cc Kymco. Not a Vespa by any means, but still lots and lots of fun. |

The bridge they cross is in long beach my power plant is under it. The ride is from Orange County California to Palos Verdes I would guess that the ride is from the San Clemente group

It might be better to have the ride in spring during cherry blossom time? |

thanks for the post
Enjoyed the hella that vid! Followed through the links from her you tube page and she has an interesting story getting onto 2 wheels! Fun read and cool pics.
Something for us scooterists and motorcyclists as well. Much better video than my cheesy around the neck camera strap while driving around these back roads! Thanks for sharing Just goes to show, if you film your ride, we WILL watch! |

I am glad you guys are liking this too -
yeah part of the reason why enjoy this video so much is because of the familiar roads they were on ----from 1985-89 thanks to the wonderful divorce of my parents i lived with my father in SoCal during the summer (Carson, Torrance, Gardena and finally in Cerritos as a freshman at CS-LB) many a times I played hookie driving and riding from PV to Redondo Beach - its amazing how everything looks the same but different if you do end up making a vid like this please share it |

Its Monica Cheek from Orange County, California!
Check out more of her videos and pics here:
http://www.monicaridesmoto.com/ http://www.youtube.com/user/MonicaRidesMoto Here is a review she made for a 2011 Vespa GTS 300. Apparently Piaggio loaned her two Vespa 300 GTS's (Super and IE)! |
