Thank you for directing me here Witch. Don't check this side of the forum often enough, and was wondering why the old post seemed to have ended.
That mini harmonica necklace on page 1 is awesome! Sending my gift out tomorrow. Hope it makes it to California in time! |

Unidentified Package
I have been procrastinating about sending my gift. It will go out in the mail today I promise. 8)
Last week I received a highly suspicious box with a return address that did not show up either on Mapquest or my GPS. It took me three days to muster the courage to open it without notifying the authorities. Should I wear a mask just in case? Or put back my armored gear in case it blows up? I took it outside and had two of my neighbors back me up. I am a bit neurotic when it comes to unidentified packages. It turned out to be a drain hose for my washer and dryer that I had ordered on the Internet. |

Sent mine out today. Should be arriving in California Wednesday. I chose a product exclusive to my area, and a re-gifted SSR item. I think I might just be the worst shopper/gift giver ever! Hope my person is cool with it. Still waiting for mine. Will post pics ASAP though!

A good day...
Got back from a trip to buy a windscreen (and sit on every Vespa in the shop) to find a box on the kitchen table. Turned it around to see the address, and it was my present Without thinking of when it was right to open it, I went at it....carefully wrapped and packed, not a dog hair in sight ........ Liz, you outdid yourself! Thanks!!!!!!!!!
What a way to finish a great day Now I have to get my butt in gear and get mine mailed!! So here's a look... Note cards, Vespa mug with chocolates, and "One of a kind Vincent Price 'What is Your Price' Mood Spinner keyring.

How to Make Ends Meet
I have never beeen an excellent wrapper. There is always that little corner that needs to be worked on. Now if you are looking at my package upfront, topside up, the left lower corner came out really crappy. So I bravely go where everyone has gone before (PO), take a deep breath, wear my big sunglasses, and drive there. Yes I drove there! The lady at the counter had lots of questions. She looked at me kind of like gave me the elevator look and said: "Any inhalants, sprays, or perfumes?" Needless to say I was aghast. Inhalants, really? I really think it was the stained sweat pants that did me in. I said no, no, no. Then she asked me why it felt so flimsy. Of course by then I was on my last gay nerve, inhaled deeply, exhaled, and responded: "It is the bubble wrap honey. The package is so pretty I thought I would bubble-wrap it before shipping." It is offical now it is in the mail with stickers everywhere.

Surprise! (wrong kind)
Just got a call from my daughter.
Daughter: "Hi daddy!! Guess what came in the mail for you!!" Me: "Ahhh, well I think it might be... (thinking of an MV Xmas, I am)". Daughter (cutting me off): "Ha!! Jury duty notice!!" Me: Sigh... "Thanks sweetie, not to worry, bye now!" Calling the Sherriff (yes we have those here, like the Sherriff of Nottingham variety, not the U.S. star-shaped-badge kind). Me: "I got a jury duty notice" Sherriff: "Yes..." Me: "I'm a member of the Bar..." Sherriff: "Oops, sorry, we'll take you off the list." Me: "Thanks, bye now." Still no MV Xmas gift... Sigh... back to waiting... feeling like a kid before Christmas... MV makes you young again... Sigh... |

thanxamillion Fenton Fred
got home late from the office last night and sitting on our kitchen table was a USPS box ---
Perfect gift - I am a medium roast guy and have always been hesitant to try new blends afraid that I won't like it - the chocolates the wife has claimed - so two birds indeed awesome that a fellow MP3 500 rider "drew" my name - now I gotta get busy mailing mine out after dinner I asked the wife if we can have a piece each - she said no - I said ok I will have one then, she glared, i knew what that meant -
thank you Fenton Fred!

An Italian Christmas cake and a neckwarmer/headwarmer/scarf-type thing. Truly cool. Our exchange student had one of those scarf-things and I thought it was pretty slick, now, in the cold MN winter, I'll be just a bit more comfortable (and a few calories heavier!)
Also cat approved! Thanks Max6200! (OK, it was a 'Max' from Wichita, I'm assuming it was Max6200!) My wife was excited about the box!
