To my recipient,
You are very welcome QuipMC. The copy of that book is unread. I had read a copy from the library. So although it was re-gifted, it is brand spankin' new. I was born and raised on those chips! I really couldn't think of anything else Dayton based that I could send you. The airplane and cash register were both invented here, but that era of innovation is long gone. I think a bag of plain potato chips with a 99 cent price tag on them best represents this town.
To my giver,
I loved your gifts KS7877. As a former art student who focused his studies in sculptures, I am blown away by the gigantic sand castles on the post card. The t-shirt is way cool! I can honestly say that this is the only article of clothing anyone has bought me that is in my taste. Love me some illustrated pin-up girls! Lego Santa on the Vespa is great too! I love that the color scheme matches that of my scooter. Thank you so much!
The back of the post card reads:
Happy Holiday Greetings from San Diego, William!
I read on MV that you used to live here. Do you ever come back to visit? I've been to Ohio-it's lonely. Hope you're staying warm and dry.
With best regards,
Karen
In response to the post card:
Again, thank you so much. I will try my best to stay warm and dry. It is raining here today, so your gift is even that more special! I think you may have confused me with someone else on the note of me once living in San Diego. Been here in lonely Ohio all my life. I do have plans of moving out west to Arizona in August though!
