You bet Janine...! It was fun to gather the stuff together. Even though we live in the middle of Albuquerque, it is still pretty rural around our neighborhood and the farmers market that we walk to every week has tons of cool stuff - plus several of the things were harvested or made within a couple thousand feet of where we live, making it about as local as I could get.

Give me a few more years and our own orchard and CSA farm will be up and running (I hope), so it will be even better!

Those Starbucks scooter mugs are huge. The chipotle chili sauce will not go to waste and the candy bar is already gone.

The sauce and candy bar are local to Seattle, and even though I got the mug at Starbucks...it was made in China.

I'm not sure the mug was made in China. It says on the bottom "new bone china". I think that's what is made of. It doesn't actually say where it was made.

Thanks to Rae for the fantastic present. My kids made the biscuits and we ate them with the honey the day we got them. Gingerbread honey? Who would have thought.
I particularly like the art work on the card. Someone clearly has far more talent than I do.

This little surprise showed up the other day but I've been too crazed to be able to post a pic of it. Scutrbrau sent a really beautiful, functional example of Vespa swag.

Of course my daughter has been picking it up, trying it on and generally making silent hints for me to offer it to her. Should I tell her about wearing white after labor day?

Mine came by scooter. Our mail system rocks and they even got wet. I'm cursed tho because my address is wrong again this year but luckily they knew where to go. You are very welcome. I received your PM. French toast with Panetonni (sp!) sounds delish. Glad you are figuring out the scarf thing. From my experience with mine I needed to stretch the bottom which is the coarse ribbed side all the way as far down to my shoulder as possible and then make the top look like a turtle neck.

ScootChef's package arrived over a week ago, and although I posted about it and we (the family) opened it up on the weekend, I have been to swamped with work to post the pictures. So mea culpa!

Thank you so much ScootChef for the T-Shirt, Chocolate, Shticks (I want to use them in the classroom ), marmalade, and book. Isabella immediately claimed it as her own! The card is now hanging from the lamp next to the Christmas tree. Its going into some soil in the spring!

On the seventh day of Channukah, a gift arrived from Israel. I found it waiting for me on the stairs in the foyer when I got home from work.

A delightful and colourful demi-tasse set. We're entertaining family over the holidays and I'm going to make some gourmet hot chocolate (boil some milk and stir in a good cup of dark chocolate shavings) that I will now be serving in the demi-tasses.

And last but by no means last, a cap emblazoned with an image of a Super Dvora MkIII.
